1971 Boss 351

The Ford Mustang saw big changes in 1971 as it underwent major restyling, it would also be the last restyling of the first generation Mustangs. The new Mustang's were almost two inches longer and two and a half inches wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase was also extended for the first time by one inch.

1969 Boss 429

Only 1358 Boss 429's were made, 859 of them being in 1969 arguably making the Boss 429 the rarest and most valued muscle car to date. In 1969 five colours were available; Raven Black, Wimbleton White, Royal Maroon, Candyapple Red, and Black Jade) and had a black interior. All Boss 429's came with manual transmission and no air conditioning due to large engine. Five additional colours were available in 1970 including, Grabber Orange, Grabber Green, Grabber Blue, Colypso Coral, and Pastel Blue with either white or black interiors. There were also only 499 Boss 429's made in 1970.

First Generation

Ford introduced the Mustang in April of 1964, which was based off of the second generation North American Ford Falcon. The Mustang was Fords most successful launch since the Model A and was the dawn of the "Pony Car" class. The first generation of the Ford Mustangs would last until 1973.
